Canada Immigration Programs
Canada offers multiple programs for immigration. You have to see which one suits your needs.
Express Entry Program
The Express Entry Program is a selection system used by Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC) to facilitate the immigration process for potential candidates.
This system is not an immigration program itself but functions to choose candidates for immigration to Canada via two economic immigration programs: the Federal Skilled Worker and the Provincial Nominee Programs.
Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs)
The Provincial Nominee Programs enable Canadian provinces and territories to nominate individuals interested in immigrating to Canada and settling in a particular province. Each province and territory, except Nunavut and Quebec, has its own unique PNP. Provincial nominations known as "enhanced nominations" provide an additional 600 Comprehensive Ranking System points to Express Entry candidates.
Canadian Experience Class
The Canadian Experience Class (CEC) is specifically tailored for individuals who have accumulated a minimum of one year of work experience in Canada. This program enables those who have acquired valuable professional experience in Canada to pursue permanent residency. Eligible candidates must fulfill the criteria set by the Express Entry system, showcasing their language proficiency and familiarity with Canadian society.
