In the Canada, the EB-5 visa allows investors to invest in a new commercial enterprise. The program also permits foreign nationals and their spouses, including children under 21 years of age, to apply for the immigrant visa.
There are some requirements an immigrant investor needs to qualify to file a petition for an E5 immigrant investor visa.
After the petition
gets approved by USCIS
After the petition gets approved by USCIS, they send it to the NVC (National Visa Center). The applicants must need to invest $1,000,000 or $1,800,000 or at least $900,000 (U.S.) in rural or high employment areas to get the visa. The individual should also create full-time jobs for at least 10 U.S. citizens within two years after qualifying the investment.
